WASH
Wash your wrap film like you would any paint finish. To keep your 3M Wrap Film looking its best, we recommend using any of the Meguiar’s WASH PRODUCTS.
MAINTAIN
In between weekly washes, to achieve a ‘just detailed’ look or to remove harmful contaminates before they bond to the surface, we recommend using Meguiar’s ULTIMATE QUIK DETAILER.
BONDED CONTAMINENTS
Bonded surface ontaminants such as bug splatter, bird droppings, tree sap or baked contaminants, should be soaked for several minutes with hot, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry. Do not use rough scrubbing or abrasive tools, which will scratch the film. If further cleaning is needed we recommend using Meguiar’s
GOLD CLASS BUG AND TAR REMOVER.
SCRATCH REMOVAL
Light surface scratches will disappear when exposed to the sunlight on warm days. Deeper scratches will not come out. However to reduce the severity of the scratch we recommend using Meguiar’s
DEEP CRYSTAL PAINT CLEANER.
POLISH & PROTECT
Traditional car polish or wax products tend to fill in the inherent texture of the film’s surface and can cause the film to develop a haze. They should NOT be used on textured Series 1080 Wrap Film. To protect your Series 1080 Wrap Film we recommend using Meguiar’s ULTIMATE QUIK WAX.
NOTE: Vinyl Films (just like paint) are degraded by prolonged exposure to sun and atmospheric pollutants, particularly on the horizontal surfaces such as bonnet, boot lid and roof. The more you keep the vehicle out of the sun or harsh weather conditions, the longer the life of the film.
